The fall bite today was red hot! My cousin Binh and I had one of our best fishing outings of the season. Spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, squarebills, and deep diving cranks all produced for us.

Monster bass! If the open water season were to end today I would be happy. At 20.5″ weighing 5 lb., 14 oz., this one wasn’t the longest this season but definitely the fattest. One more bluegill meal for him and he would have been easily 6 pounds. I am still in awe! Thanks to my cousin Binh Nguyen on the net job! This bass crushed the Nichols Lures Depth Finder Spinnerbait!

A Labor Day brute! This one grabbed my jig & Adrenaline Bug as my line got caught on a tree limb. I was eventually able to pull him free.

Bassin’ in purple and gold! Fish were quite active this past Sunday, Sept. 6th, lots of activity and fish moving around. My cousin landed a very nice northern to start off the morning. The fall bite is about to start! SKOL!!!

New video from yesterday evening’s fun outing! A big bass landed and a boatside strike by a northern pike on my last cast topped off a beautiful evening on the water.

New fishing video! Footage filmed the day preceding the full moon phase during the early morning hours. Power fishing is my favorite way to catch bass. The bass bite was on!
Some lakes have numbers of fish but small, then there are others that have a few but quality like this fish. My cousin and I got on them good yesterday evening. Fun outing!

A pike frenzy kind of day! Several nice pike caught on the Mepps Flying C spinner and few on a bluegill-pattern chatterbait.

The bite picked up after the front moved through this evening. Not much action on the frog but a weightless Adrenaline Bug and Muscle Back Craw in the summer craw color did the trick!

So happy for my cousin Binh catching his personal best largemouth yesterday evening…a whopping 6 lbs., 20.5 inches! Way to go cuz!!
