Icing my first rainbow on a Sunday balmy winter day before the Super Bowl. A perfect day! We saw lots of trout swimming through but just a few biters on the X Zone 2″ panfish tube.

Always fun to come home to a new product to test and review! This Deeper Smart Sonar is a wireless, castable, CHIRP fish finder/depth finder. It generates its own Wi-Fi signal to connect directly to your smartphone. A little smaller than a tennis ball and weighs just 3 ounces. I will be testing this sonar unit out on ice this winter and open water this upcoming season and will give a full review.

Well I think that’s a wrap to the 2019 fishing season… It was a really fun year catching some nice fish, spending time with family and friends on the water, and exploring new lakes and streams. Ice fishing season prep begins!
