A slow overall evening on a smoky sunset. With a half hour of daylight left, I zipped a chatterbait along the edge of the milfoil when this 19.5”, 4.59 lb. chunky bass crushed it! A couple leaps, a head shake, and my net man, Peyton, was quick with the scoop.
