My brother An and I caught and released over 30 football-shaped smallmouth bass, 7 muskies, and several northern pike. The bass in the lake fed well on the perch and every one of them had a huge belly to them! All of our bass weighed between 2.5 to 4 lbs. Largest bass was 16 inches in length. An caught 6 of the 7 muskies, his longest being 37 inches. He was on fire with his famous Mepps spinner. Meals were excellent! Our host Alan would chat with us every evening during dinner to see how we did throughout the day and he would remember what we told him as they put our newsletters every month and it had all the details we mentioned to him. So cool! It was a wonderful trip! The scenery on Highway 502 was amazing as we saw bear and moose crossing the road.
